VISA INFORMATION

Applying for your visa to Bahrain

Visas are required by all visitors to Bahrain with the exception of passport holders of other GCC States. The Organisers cannot be held responsible for any visitor who fails to obtain a visa as they are issued entirely at the discretion of the Bahraini authorities.

Visa on arrival

Passport holders from 60+ countries are granted visas on arrival. Passport holders from these countries are also eligible to apply for an e-visa ahead of their arrival. To check your eligibility, please visit the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior- Nationality, Passports & Residence Affairs website.

Visa service for MEOS GEO 2025 participants

Informa Markets offers assistance to MEOS GEO 2025 participants who require a visa to enter Bahrain. To use Informa Market’s visa service you will need:

  • Your unique Registration Key found in your MEOS GEO 2025 registration confirmation email
  • Clear copies of your passport pages ready to upload

A fee of US$ 61.00 for a two-week visa is payable in advance.

Media visas

Journalists, media and accompanying crew members are required to register for a media visa in advance of their visit to Bahrain. Applications should be made directly to the Department of International Media Affairs for Foreign Media at the Bahrain Information Affairs Authority. For further information on requirements and to apply online for a media visa, please visit the Bahrain Information Affairs website.

Visa invitation letter

If you require a visa invitation letter from the organisers MEOS GEO can support you by providing an official letter for registered attendees. More information on the process will be provided closer to the show.

Entry requirements

All passport holders should ensure their passport is valid for a minimum period of 6 months from the date of entry into Bahrain, and should carry onward or return air tickets. Exhibitors are advised to carry a letter of authority from their company referring to the exhibition.
